State Wide Astronomy Night at WSU Planetarium, Friday April 15th, starting at 5:30 pm

Starting at 5:30 pm - Join us for the State Wide Astronomy Night (SWAN) here at Wayne State.  All activities at Old Main Building-Meet at WSU Planetarium, Room 0209 Old Main (lower level).


Celebrate SWAN, part of the Michigan State University Science Festival,  at WSU with a combination of presentations and hands-on activities! See special presentations given by WSU Planetarians!   Explore the wonders of the sky in our planetarium and outside with a variety of telescopes!

5:30 - 6:00 pm - Solar Telescopes* 
6:00 - 6:30 pm - Planetarian Presentations 
6:30 - 6:45 pm - Break (to set up for planetarium show)
7:00 - 8:00 pm - Planetairum Show with fulldome film, Seven Wonders
8:00 - 9:00 pm - Telescopes*
