QuarkNet Master Class, Saturday, March 10th, hosted by Physics & Astronomy

QuarkNet is a network of dedicated particle physicists and high school teachers, providing high school students in grades 10 – 12 with first-hand experience in science, R&D, and providing opportunities to interact with real-life scientists. The Master Class includes instruction with data from the CMS experiment at the Large Hadron Collider, lunch with Wayne State University faculty, and a video session with other students from across the country.

The class will be held Saturday, March 10, 2012, from 9:00am to 4:30pm in the Physics Research Building at Wayne State University.
