WSU Physics & Astronomy Professor Chris Kelly wins prestigious NSF CAREER Award.
Professor Chris Kelly has won a 5 year $500,000 award from the National Science Foundation for his proposal entitled: "The nanoscale dynamics of molecular sorting, membrane curvature, and endocytosis”. This will allow Prof. Kelly to support young scientists and further our understanding of the physical principles that govern the bending of biological membranes. His development and implementation of super-resolution microscopes will shed light on the molecular behaviors that govern key neurological, immunological, and metabolic functions.
